The fantastic HPI E10 is now available with the Porsche 911 Turbo bodyshell!! The E10 is an easy-to-drive and extra-tough RTR touring car from HPI, making ideal for new radio-control car fans of all ages!

The E10 is a four-wheel drive, factory-assembled, fully prepared 1/10th scale street car from the same world-renowned HPI design team that is famous for user friendliness, racer appeal and usability. Aimed squarely at the new or casual RC car hobbyist, the E10 will delight and amaze everyone who drives it!

 

The first thing that will strike you about the E10 is how great it looks. Amazing quality bodyshells, crafted to perfection by HPI’s in-house craftsmen, are a trademark of HPI’s commitment to quality. Unique wheels in today’s latest styles and realistic-looking tyres in long-lasting rubber compounds are also items that HPI customers have come to expect.

 

Adding to the cool style of the E10 is a complete set of actual rotating disc brakes (which look awesome but do not actually function as brakes) and a venturi-style rear bumper! You would not find these amazing details on any other RTR car!

 

 

The reliable and sturdy HPI TF-1 radio controls the RTR E10, giving you ultimate control in a realistically designed radio! The steering wheel design makes you feel as if you are actually driving the car, and the trigger-style throttle and brake controls provide you with finger-sensitive action when accelerating and stopping! The radio transmitter features interchangeable frequency crystals, servo reverse switches, a retractable aerial with sliding cover, easy access to radio adjustments and simple battery replacement.

Taking the signals from the transmitter, the HPI RF-1 receiver uses standard RC connectors to send your control signals to the SF-1 steering servo, which controls the steering, and the forward/reverse EN-1 speed controller, which handles the throttle, brake and reverse commands to the Saturn 27-turn motor. You get long-range, reliable connections between your transmitter and car with the RF-1 and dependable control from the SF-1 and SC-15!

 

 

Beyond its great looks and dependable equipment, the next important function of any entry-level RTR car is to be tough! The E10 does this very well, absorbing all the abuse and damage you can throw its way. HPI designers have many years of experience in designing the best Ready-To-Run cars and trucks in the RC hobby. From the drivetrain and chassis to suspension and bodyshell, the E10 is strong, durable and long-lasting!

The E10 uses a simple system of threaded hinge pins for the suspension, making repairs easy to complete. Every hinge pin on the car uses this system, meaning there are no e-clips to worry about - something that experienced RC hobbyists will be very happy about!

 

 

With great looks, excellent electronics package and sturdy build, you might think that’s all the E10 has to offer, however this car is a joy to drive! The E10 takes performance cues from previous HPI championship-winning cars and durable design elements and bring them all together for a total package that is fun to drive, tough and featuring great performance!

 

The underside of the chassis is fully countersunk, which means it’s completely flat for driving over smooth or rough tarmac, and no screws stick out to catch on any debris that might be on your driving surface.

 

The strong tub shape helps keep rocks and other debris out of the chassis, keeping the car cleaner for easy maintenance.

 

The suspension parts are made from thick, long-wearing durable plastic so you don’t have to worry about making a few mistakes from time to time. A tough servo saver protects the steering servo, and thick steering arms connect the servo to the front knuckles to protect the steering system. You can drive the E10 as hard as you want without fear of breaking!

 

 

Racing around on the street or in a car park with your friends has never been so much fun! Dual wishbone suspension means you get handling that is similar the top RC touring cars, giving you cornering and performance that will bring a grin to drivers of all ages and experience levels. Full-time 4WD means you have the grip and power to get yourself out of any kind of trouble on the track. With the unique T-Grip tyres on the E10 your car will stick to the road in nearly all conditions - small rocks and dust would not affect your driving enjoyment!

Simply remove the motor from the rear of the car, shift the electronics back and re-install the motor in the front of the chassis!
